Reading notes
Parchment document in Latin. John II Casimir confirms the foundation privilege of the town of Podgrodzie based on Magdeburg law (transuming an earlier confirmation by Władysław IV from Warsaw dated April 21, 1633). Ink/moisture stains and creases are visible on the document. The seal is not preserved; cuts in the plica and a fragment of the cord/strip for hanging the seal remain.
