Translation / modern text
Most noble, distinguished, and excellent Gentlemen, esteemed Gentlemen and Colleagues!
I deeply regret that I must still be absent from the town hall and cannot participate in your work for the public good. I will, however, endeavor to arrive as soon as possible to be at your service.
A case is pending with Mr. Podgórski, which requires my presence at the main hearing. I kindly request [your assistance] and the proper safekeeping of the trial records should it come before His Majesty's court. [Further argumentation partially illegible: the author refers to the dues owed to the successors of the late Mr. Żydkiewicz [?] and to something previously accepted in lieu of payment; the parties and the direction of the settlement have not been precisely determined.]
I commend myself to your grace and friendship.
In Buczacz, March 27, 1661.
Your well-wishing colleague and servant,
Jan Attelmaier [?; archival identification: Attelmaier].
[Address:] To the most noble, distinguished, and excellent gentlemen, the mayor and councilors of the royal city of Lwów, esteemed Gentlemen and Colleagues.

Reading notes
All three pages and text magnification were examined. Partial writing: not a sufficient basis for reconstructing the dispute or inheritance rights. The date stamp was read as Buczacz, March 27, 1661; the location confirms the inventory description. The signed name in its archaic form has not been definitively resolved; the form 'Attelmaier' is an archival identification, not a literal reading of the signature. 'Podgórski' is legible, 'Żydkiewicz' is uncertain. 'In solutum' refers to acceptance in lieu of payment; the object or creditor is not specified because the syntax is uncertain.

Notes on translation (transferred from text): Here the author explains that it concerns the preservation of almost all or the greater part of his interest/estate; the exact object and the following sentence were not read. Preservation of the meaning of old legal documents? — reading uncertain.
