Translation / modern text
[Salutation:] Most honorable and gracious Mr. Judge, my gracious lord and friend.
The sender refers to the castle court circular and a letter from the Lwów aldermen to the addressee. He writes about the need to preserve Lwów’s privileges and says he will appear at the appointed time; details of the matter and part of the sentence remain illegible.
At Żyrawów [place-name uncertain], on Christmas Day, 1680.
[Signature read as Adam Drzewski; abbreviation after the signature uncertain.]

Reading notes
One letter sheet with an address on the reverse/fold; no separate letters were identified in this unit. The cover gives the opening date as 25 December 1680 and notes two sheets. The letter sheet bears the date “From Żyrawów on Christmas Day, Anno 1680”; the place-name has been tentatively normalized. The sender is read from the signature as Adam Drzewski, but both the surname and the abbreviation after it require verification. The salutation contains the uncertain form “Panie Sędziku” (“Mr. Judge”). The main text remains fragmentary because the handwriting is difficult to read.
