[P. 2]
Gracious Councilors of His Royal Majesty's City of Lwów,
My most Gracious Lords and Friends!
People believe that you, my gracious lords, are kind to me, and therefore Mr. Walter, my good friend, has asked me to intercede with you, my gracious lords, in his case which is pending in Lwów regarding his own wines. So that he may not be disappointed in his belief, and that I may remain indebted to you, my lords, I earnestly request that you deign to show him gracious favor in his needs, just as I have always experienced from you, my gracious lords. I shall strive with all my might to repay this to you, my lords, and in the meantime I remain
Your, my gracious lords, entirely well-wishing [...] friend and servant,
Stanisław Żurawski,
Cup-bearer of Ciechanów, by his own hand.
In Warsaw, the 24th of August, 1664.
[P. 3, address:]
To my most Gracious Lords and Friends, the Honorable Mayor and Councilors of His Royal Majesty's City of Lwów – to be delivered urgently.
Quickly, quickly, quickly.

Letter of recommendation (intercession) from the Cup-bearer of Ciechanów, Stanisław Żurawski (in the inventory: 'Шуровського'), for the merchant Walter (in the inventory incorrectly read as 'Альтер') regarding the transport/trade of wine in Lwów.
