Translation / modern text
[P. 2]
Most Gracious Mr. Mayor and my most gracious Gentlemen!
Offering my respects, I bring to the attention of Your Graces that although I personally testified to the then-record for this land and cottage in Bogdanivka [...] in favor of that woman, having received a certain portion of the money, and she has not yet paid me the remainder, however, since relatives lay claim to this land, and it lies within the jurisdiction of Your Graces, then as closer relatives by the decree of Your Graces – having satisfied her – they should [recover] the land and cottage. For I myself advocate that this should happen quickly. I most humbly ask for the protection of Your Graces in this regard and [safeguarding], so that Your Graces do not let it out of your care and take these goods as your own. I wish Your Graces at the same time that you may remain in your office now as well. For which I ask a second time, remaining for this time.
In Bircza Podkomorska,
on the 20th of December, 1687.
Your Graces' well-wishing friend and most humble servant,
Grzegorz Jan Piotrowski
[P. 3]
[Address:]

[Chancery annotation in another hand:]
