Most Illustrious and Gracious Sir.
The matter of the Skotnicki family regarding the Kiziów estate, entrusted to the support of Your Grace, my Lord, and well known to the Lord Chorąży of Łomża, was, I believe, in the memory of Your Grace, my Lord, upon your return from Wisznia. I renew my humble request that Your Grace, my Lord, through your own effective intercession [...] of Your Grace, my Lord of Kraków, my lord and benefactor, [...] to incline towards the satisfaction, which I humbly seek on behalf of [...] His Grace, bypassing the legal path,

missing deadlines, I am striving. A way could be found regarding the monetary penalty that the Lord Chorąży of Łomża proposed to me, for even if one delay were attributed to the satisfaction, the interest grows, and if it came to pursuing the matter in court, legal costs would also have to be covered. I, however, cannot abandon this matter, for every guardian must account to his wards for what has been entrusted and neglected. Derived from just reasons, the effective favor of Your Grace, my Lord, will serve glory and among meritorious deeds

at the Lwów jubilee will be a highly pious act, when you deign to provide the orphans with a resolution in this old and doubtful matter. If there were any unnecessary scruple in something, and the matter could actually come to fruition, then credit could be found, and I would be a sufficient executor. But one could speak more extensively about this now, if I could receive a declaration of satisfaction through the efforts of Your Grace, my Lord, undertaken out of integrity and magnanimity. These orphans will also show gratitude,

having the duty to serve Your Grace, my Lord, along with whom I myself will also forever remember my duty. Therefore, commending myself to the favor of Your Grace, my Lord, I remain
In Gniewczyna, on the 18th of December, 1701.
Your Grace, my Lord's, well-wishing and humble servant,
Andrzej Dędyński, Wojski of the Land of Przemyśl.
