The German-speaking sender addresses the Lviv magistrate about accounts, creditors, and sums due. He presents arguments concerning earlier agreements and asks for the matter to be considered fairly. The text is difficult to read; the addition on p. 3 bears a separate postmark dated 17 September, but appears to be a postscript to the letter, not a separate letter.
