Translation / modern text
The letter contains a merchant’s account with two entries: 17 units at 23 (391 in total) and 36 at 19 (684 in total), giving a recorded sum of 1075. The goods’ names are illegible. The sender also refers to correspondence and the settlement of an account or delivery. The date line indicates Nürnberg, 9 July 1690; the signature probably reads Engelhard(t) Bernhard.

Reading notes
The inventory card on PDF p. 1 describes a letter from the merchant Engelhard Bernhard in Nürnberg to a merchant in Lviv and gives the unit’s starting date as 7 June 1690. This is cataloguing information; the date in the letter itself on PDF p. 2 is read as 9 July 1690. PDF p. 3 is the address side of the same folded letter. The place and surname spellings are based on handwriting that is not fully legible. A second reading of p. 2 confirms two accounting entries and a total of 1075 (391 + 684); the goods’ names are not clear enough to identify. The earlier general reference to merchant matters should not be treated as a full translation.
