The sender reports that one of the people in his household has a succession case before the court or magistracy of Lviv. He asks the recipients to consider it fairly. He mentions circumstances and rights connected with the case, but some details are illegible. The dateline is incomplete: “Na granicy …” (“At the border of …”) and perhaps the day 8 March can be made out, but neither the place nor the year is established.

Reading notes
PDF p. 1 is an inventory card; its opening-date field appears to indicate 1704 and March, but it was not used to establish the letter’s date. PDF p. 2 contains one letter; p. 3 is its wrapper, addressed “Nobilibus ac Spectabilibus Dominis Amicis Honorandis, Prudentibus Consulibus totius Magistratus Regiae Civitatis Leopoliensis”. The signature “Andreas …” and the closing dateline require further reading.
