Reading notes
Page 2 contains one letter to Arthur Forbes; its wrapper on p. 3 identifies him as a merchant in Lemberg. The letter opens “Moie Wielce Mci Panie Forbes, Mci Panie y Przyjacielu”. The text contains references to sums/accounting, but the amounts and substance cannot be read with confidence. The inventory card gives a date range for the archival unit; that range is not assigned to this letter.
