Translation / modern text
My noble and respected sirs, friends whom I hold in the highest regard. [The remainder is largely illegible; the surviving fragments point to matters concerning Lviv and a request for the matter to be treated favorably.]
Warsaw, 4 April 1689.
The addressees were the praeconsuls, consuls, and entire magistracy of the city of Lviv.

Reading notes
The date was read from the closing dating on the sheet (PDF p. 8): “W Warszawie d. 4 Aprilis 1689”. PDF p. 9 contains the address on the verso, not a separate letter. The sheet's original numbering is 7. The handwriting is poorly legible; the sender and the full text have not been established. PDF p. 16 is a later copy/version of the same letter (matching date and content); it was not counted as a separate letter.
