Translation / modern text
The sender submits a petition to the Lviv magistrate. The surviving passage mentions the chapter and Imć Bogacki, and says that someone “could occupy his place”; because the reading is uncertain, the position or matter at issue cannot be identified. The letter is dated 4 March 1756.

Reading notes
The date, 4 March 1756, was read from the letter itself on PDF p. 3 (“4ta Martii 1756”), not solely from the cover. The inventory card on PDF p. 1 gives “Started: 31 March 1756”; this is a cataloguing date. PDF pp. 2–3 form one letter. The transcription retains the readable references to the chapter, Imć Bogacki, and his place without inferring which office or matter they concern.
