Translation / modern text
Most distinguished and dear brother. I learned that you are well, and I miss you. I write that I have learned to suffer; further words about suffering are only partly legible.

[s. 54, adres] A Monseigneur le Palatin de Volhynie [?] à Leopold.
Reading notes
Pages 51–53 form a letter; p. 54 is its address leaf. The palatine's title and Leopold/Lviv can be read on p. 54, but the territorial designation is uncertain. Page 55 has its own French heading and begins the next letter, so it is not part of record 681-013. The attribution to Anna Katarzyna Leszczyńska-Jabłonowska and Jan Jabłonowski comes from the collection inventory, not a certain signature on this letter.
