Warszawa, 10 maja 1685 r.
Pozostawiłem je jeszcze u niego, prosząc o namysł i zgodę.
Pan Gardin odkłada zapłatę do końca, choć wielokrotnie nalegałem. Mam tu według polecenia pana Roberta tkaniny Quintins [ilości i rozrachunek niepewne].
Przesyłam wyrazy powinności i szacunku, polecając Pana i Pańskie sprawy Bogu Wszechmogącemu. Alex. Huison.

Sir, yours of d.3 present I received d.8. Sir conforme to orders at large I have had much conference with Saskiewicz; however I cannot by no intreatie perswad him for till accep of those belts with the gold & silver. Also according unto your will I did shew him that you wold not desyre payment for them untill Jaroslawes ensuing great market, but all in vaine. He protested all the belts which was sent him from Cracow befor me. I did shew him the last time for receiving out the same will be at the conclusione of the Parliament. As also he hes… [niepewny fragment] in respect of your goodness unto him in waiting your money for the Robercet and Killams so longe after the time which he should have payt at [nieczytelny termin], in respect of that favour you have shewen unto him that he wold be pleased also to doe some thing for you and not make anie more scruple in the accepting of those belts.
I have left them yet besyd him, desyring that he wold yet tak it to consideratione and resolve in accepting of them. He shewes he wold willinglie doe it but since he hes so manie more yet upon his hand, yet however if the conclusione of the parliament now he will accep of them. In the mean time Sir I think it expedient you wold be pleased till wret unto him your self, and it may be your ltr prevaill with him. I doubt also if he doe enought unto his obligatione, for he hes I hear great money for till pay out [skreślony fragment]. He hes yet an… good money for till pay Mr Wast which also at midfast should have been payt. With much adoe at present I received from him an hunder Speci [symbol]; the rest he shewes if possible he will pay heir. I did shew him that I was onlie attending upon that and that out of the toun I may not goe till I have payment of that from him at least.
Thomas Cuming hes given off an hunder Speci [symbol] and more he shewes he cannot give off heire. I did shew him your necessitie of money heir for till be given off, as also your necessitie of funds for till be sent for Dantzig. I know he hes sold off the most of his wines, but am not certaine if for readie money or not; however I think it convenient that you will be pleased for to wret againe to him. Thodoriewic promiseth if possible to mak satisfactione this week. I did shew him that I was making my self readie and wold willinglie the beginning of the next week Journey from heire. I have nothing for till receive from the Jews till about the end of this month, save onlie from on[e] such goods being in his hands of the mater of f400 [skróty niepewne]. The which after [nieczytelne] from Saskiewicz and Thodoriewic I wold willinglie dispat[c]h my self from heire, if possible after Cracows post.
Mr Gardin sett me off till the last of it though severall times I have been Instant for procuring satisfactione from him. I think also it were expedient you wret unto him; yet he is not heir. Very willinglie I wold have sent more good money for Mr Forbes till Dantzig, but it being exceeding scant and for till send [nieczytelne] there wold be loss on them. I have given heir [3¼m?] Quintins according to Mr Roberts orders, the mater [nieczytelne liczby]. I have them yet by me… [kwota niepewna]. If I can sell them in and anie give off, after I shall remit the same for Dantzig till Mr Forbes. I had word from him that he hes received that [½m?] Bm from Mr Karmichel and hes placed the same till your account.
With Regiment quarter Mr Simson conforme unto your ltr I have shewen him all at lenth; if performance be according unto his promises it wold be well. He shewes that he is till Journey this week for Dantzick and there they have assignations till receive no litle money. So he promiseth so soone as possible till make you thankfull payment, as also contentment for the lying of your money.
No news wee hear from the parliament; it is thought that it will end this or the next week at furthest. My dutie and best respects being remembred unto you, and committing you with adoes unto God Almightie, rests Sir your affectioned and humble servant at command Alex. Huison.
Uwagi do odczytu
Obejrzano s. 18–19; adres do Forbesa w Rzeszowie.
