Translation / modern text
The letter opens with “Monseigneur” and discusses political and church matters; readable words include “konstytucyi” (constitution) and “kardynałów” (cardinals). A dateline at the end of p. 18 shows the year 1699, but the day and month abbreviation are uncertain. The address on p. 19 is to the Palatine/Voivode of the Ruthenian lands at Leopolis (Lviv).

Reading notes
Pages 17–18 form one letter; p. 19 is its folded address side. Page 16 bears a similar address to the Palatine/Voivode of the Ruthenian lands, but its letter cannot be identified securely; it is left unassigned and is not made a separate record. The year 1699 is certain from the dateline; the day and month reading remain uncertain.
