Esteemed Mr Hayder, my lord and friend!
Your letter has reached me, along with what you wished to express in it. I recognise your goodwill towards me, made all the more apparent by your continuing care for my affairs and by bringing my wish to a successful outcome. I am, and shall always be, grateful for these efforts whenever occasion arises.
I shall keep a close eye on the matter you recommend to me and confer with the judge about it. Not only in this request but in every other, I shall be ready to show you all my goodwill. I earnestly commend myself to your favour.

Reading notes
Pages 12–13 inspected: one letter with a Latin postscript and address. 21 February 1646 dates the letter; 14 March is a receipt note, not the date of writing. The judge’s name and details of the matter remain unidentified. Sędzikiem has been treated as a title, subject to further checking. A promise of help does not prove a later intervention. Entire unit: thirteen pages, five letters, no separate enclosures or copies; earlier searching found only catalogues.
