The letter to Robert and Arthur Forbes concerns trade and includes a partial list of goods and amounts. References to bales, numbered entries, and selected figures are legible, but the goods and full account cannot be reliably reconstructed. Page 25 is probably the address side of the letter.

Reading notes
The heading on PDF p. 23 appears to read 22 February 1686, consistent with the working inventory; the place may read “Lauß”. PDF p. 24 contains continuation and figures. Page 25 is tentatively assigned as a folded address leaf.
