August II conveys to Potocki, the Crown Guard, Lwów's complaint regarding the creation of a separate jurisdiction in the suburbs, the occupation of city lands, and the violence of the leaseholder. He demands an investigation into property rights, remaining within the boundaries of acquired lands, and restraining the leaseholder; he points to the possibility of a trial before the appropriate court.

A copy attributed to Matei Basarab conveys to János Kemény rumors about Cossacks, Tatars, and Polish troops. The sender distinguishes uncertain news from what he himself managed to confirm and mentions an envoy who arrived from the Khan.

Marshal of the Crown Tribunal Stanisław Kazimierz Bieniewski reprimands the Lwów magistrate for imprisoning wounded noblemen in a prison for thieves, considering it an insult to the knightly estate. He calls on the city authorities to cease these actions due to the ongoing tribunal proceedings and reminds them of their ingratitude for his previous intercession with the King.

Kazimierz Głogowski appeals to deputy Józef Potocki for support at the Sejm and for the confirmation of rights to disputed property from an executed will via a Sejm constitution. In return for his assistance, he declares his full gratitude and readiness to perform reciprocal favors.

The author assures the addressee, whom he calls his patron and friend, of his attachment and readiness to serve his interests, and mentions a letter to the addressee’s father. He refers to “Baron Baschia” and an imminent departure for the Persian court (“partir dans quelques jours pour la Cour de Perse”); he also discusses a letter of recommendation and a cleric, though some context is unclear. The date line on p. 4 appears to read Erzerum?, 1 February 1690. The signature gives “Comte Philippe de…”, with the surname uncertain.

A letter dated at Lwów on 10 June 1684 and addressed to recipients in Lwów. The Latin heading and some text fragments survive; the remaining passages need further reading.

The writer, whose signature may read Szczęsny Krzechowski, writes about taking over the administration of the Bishopric of Chełm and commends himself to the recipient’s favor and protection. The letter is dated at Chełm on 5 February 1697.

Teodor Lubomirski apologizes to the Castellan of Kraków for not saying goodbye in person before leaving Warsaw and sends his respects via a messenger. He humbly requests continued favor and protection for himself and his banner, declaring his readiness to serve.

Antoni Potocki asks Colonel Korytowski to refrain from stationing Crown troops within the starosta's jurisdiction in Lviv. He refers to the decision of the Hetman conveyed through Starosta Branicki.

Aleksander Jan Potocki asks Hetman Stanisław Jan Jabłonowski to intercede with the King to prevent his brother from being stripped of his banner. He recalls his brother's significant financial outlays and sacrifices since the Vienna expedition, appealing for the defense of his noble honor.

Józef Potocki invites the Voivode of Ruthenia, Jan Stanisław Jabłonowski, to Stanisławów for the holidays to discuss public affairs and a planned campaign against the Cossacks. He also reports on awaiting an intelligence report regarding the movements of the Budjak Horde and expresses concerns about burdensome military contributions.

Józef Potocki orders Captain Pruszyński to halt the military execution against Lwów in exchange for a written guarantee of the delivery of a batch of cloth by specified deadlines. He also instructs him to collect the due share of the contribution from recalcitrant Jews and to remain in the city until the entire delivery is received.

General of the Podolian lands Mikołaj Potocki appeals to the Mayor of Lviv for lenient treatment of his castle servant Semian in a case pending before the Lviv municipal court. He requests a fair investigation of the circumstances in accordance with the law and asks that no monetary fine be imposed on the servant.

Piotr Potocki, Voivode of Chernihiv, addresses Lviv councilor Kirkor with a request for a fair and favorable resolution to the dispute between Mrs. Starodubowa and Mrs. Kowalska. He declares personal gratitude for any kindness shown to Starodubowa and her children, one of whom is currently in his care.

Stanisław Potocki, Lithuanian Master of the Hunt, informs the magistrate and the community of Lwów of his planned marriage to the eldest daughter of the Voivode of Volhynia. He addresses the recipients with a polite request to grace the wedding ceremony, scheduled in Lwów for January 2, 1695, with their presence.
